The JBC Data Club is a mentoring program to help develop proficiency in high-dimensional data analysis while learning to avoid common data analysis “pitfalls” that frequently lead to erroneous data interpretation, such as batch effects from technical, sample processing, and/or donor-to-donor differences. In each session, two participants will present their work in progress and get feedback and suggestions. This work in progress can be anything from a simple problem like being stuck in a particular analysis step, to presenting already a few results and get high-level feedback or ideas on next steps, to presenting a planned experiment and get feedback on experimental design to get robust data that can answer a specific question.
When are they held?
JBC Data Club meetings occur once a month; please email jbc@bwh.harvard.edu to be added to the distribution list and learn about upcoming meetings.
